Eunos Chump

I got over the flu after a week, but now I've done my back in, and have spent the past few days in bed.  It's all snow outside anyway, so definitely no motorbike shenanigans for a while. I'm hoping to attend the California Superbike school in April (assuming I'm not ill, as I have been for 50% of 2013 so far).  I reckon I'm barely scratching the surface of what my bikes can do, and my attempts to hang off are often clumsy and inconsistent.  I'd very much like to get a Fireblade this Summer, but it'll be something of a waste right now.

Still got the flu.  My only comfort is bedtime with a pair of co-codamols, and the hours of oblivion they bring.  2013 has turned out RUBBISH so far.

I was going to Wales this weekend, to ride through the Brecon Beacons and on to Snowdonia.  I had an excellent route planned to Bala, where I was going to stay overnight, but woke up with the flu so it's all off.  Shame, it was going to be a test run for possible trips to Europe this summer.

I'd quite like a GoPro camera for the bike, but Santa didn't provide.  So instead, here's a mock-up of what footage from a typical weekend ride might look like: I've spent the past few days making improvements to the garage - is there any more noble pursuit than upgrading your man cave?  I've replaced the ancient and dodgy old flourescent tube with a pair of 6' tubes, mounted a load of tools on the wall, AND installed a PC.  It's like a McLaren pit garage now.  Only with lots of spiders.
